Valley Wildlife is a family run zoo set within the 200+ acre site of Gulliver's Valley Resort, we are home to more than 40 different species in addition to providing rehabilitation and release of British wildlife.

Exciting Events at Valley Wildlife
Animal Antics
Summer Kids Club for animal enthusiasts aged 8-12.
Days of animal fun, conservation work and wildlife crafts for children aged 8+ years.
The days run from 9.30am - 3.30pm.
Snacks of fruit and water/squash are provided, but please bring sandwiches.
Each day will be run by two staff members and is intended as a summer club where parents drop - off, however parents are able to remain on-site if required.
There are elements of animal husbandry, feeding and handling throughout the day, working with a wide range of species held at the zoo.

Wildlife Photography Workshop
Would you like to learn how to photograph wildlife? Why not join one of our photography sessions hosted by Pandora Maund.
Pandora is an award winning local photographer and photography tutor with a passion for wildlife and conservation.
She works on location in the UK and abroad and runs workshops with one-to-one sessions, including the very popular Harvest Mice sessions at Valley Wildlife.

Home Schooler Sessions
We offer Animal Care sessions for home schooled children aged 8 - 15 years, covering all areas of animal husbandry, health, management and conservation.
Sessions take place every Wednesday and Thursday 12.30 - 2.30 and Friday 11.00-12.00 during term time.
£15.00 per 2 hours session / £8.00 per 1 hour session
(invoiced at the start of each half term)

By Car: Enter the above postcode into your SatNav. Junction 31 from the M1, following the signs for the A57.
By Bus: First Bus X5 from Sheffield City centre or First Bus 29 and 29A from Rotherham town centre. There is a bus stop on Mansfield Road directly outside the Gulliver's entrance.
OPENING HOURS
Valley Wildlife can be visited for free with a valid Gulliver's theme park ticket, 7 days a week - throughout the summer holiday. Private encounters can be booked 7 days a week, please contact us for more details.
